Blog post thirteen assignment is to reflect on all of the previously assigned blog post and decide on a topic that correlates with the curriculum plus is something that we did not cover. Rocket Speller is an educational app that is especially useful in lower level children like kindergarten and first grade. This app is a fun and engaging app that helps students with letters, letter combinations, and spelling along with many other things. It also is very special because it has adaptive assistance technology that identifies what the player is struggling with and helps strengthening it by applying it to the game while they play.

Educreations Interactive While Board

This app is not only extremely useful for students but also very useful for teachers. This app creates an interactive whiteboard for students. It also allows screen recording so that teachers can use the app and work out a math problem then share it through the app with the students so, they are able to see each step worked out on their individual tablets. This also allows them to access the teachers screen clips at home incase they are having trouble and need to view the example while doing their homework. Plus it allows the teacher to check in on the students while they are working on a problem.

A.R Flash Cards


This app is better suited for younger children like kindergarteners and first graders. It works on letters and letter sounds by using animated flash cards. This app makes learning letters fun and exciting. The students are able to hear letter sounds while viewing them on the flash cards making it easy for them to use to practice by themselves.

Haiku Deck

This app is something that students of all ages can use. It was created to help create presentations. Students can use this for group projects that are going to be shared with the class or individual work to organize information. This app also allows students to create graphic organizers. But this app is not only for students; teachers can use this to present lessons or ideas to the class or coworkers. Another plus is that it allows wireless streaming to any smart board or projector so that sharing presentations is easy and fun.
